In this class we cover basic language tools to get you around in a Spanish speaking destination, including:
key language concepts to build basic phrases
introductions
• numbers, days of the week, months of the year
telling time
hiring a cab, booking a tour, getting on/off at the right stop
restaurant situations, ordering, the bill, allergies
getting a hotel room, negotiating prices
local customs and etiquette
Advanced Beginner Spanish fall classes will run weekly for 13 weeks
Dates: Tuesday nights from Sept 7 to November 30, 2010
Time: 19:00 to 21:00

gain confidence and spontaneity in conversation
review the material covered in Beginner Spanish
learn and practice conversing using present and past tenses
practice using simple imperative phrases
learn to use prepositions, adjectives, and object pronouns
learn to talk about likes and dislikes and opinions
increase our Spanish vocabulary

practice using the imperative verb tense and everyday subjunctive phrases
practice talking, reading and writing about current events and cultural themes

Intermediate Spanish summer classes will run weekly for 6 weeks
